·Hi all again,
still raising funds for other things, I offer you today my rose gold Angelus Chronodato from late 40s.
Chronodatos are a classic "must have" for every vintage watches passionate, and they are a lot of stuff if considering the period in which they were marketed.
While many survivors are steel or gold plated, it is much harder to find a gold one in good condition, let alone rose gold.
Mine is rose gold and in quite good conditions for its age.
Rose gold chunky case is very good and comes in an very contemporary size, 38mm excluded crown, and with its charming long, stepped lugs it sits really nice on the wrist. It is sharp and and the original finish is still there. Serial number, Angelus logo and gold hallmark perfectly readable everywhere. Lugs width 20mm.
Original dial has developed a very nice and soft patina, especially around the subdials. Hands set is strictly original, as well as crown and pushers. Date indicator arrow hand lost almost all its red painting.
Famous Angelus inhouse calibre 217, which is an 17 jewel hand wound column wheel movement with triple date function and chronograph, got a costly full service in july 2021 and a receipt will be provided with the sale. The movement is winding, setting and running very well, timekeeping is good, the chrono works as it should and all date functions and pushers are operating correctly. Movement was completely disassembled and there is a pic very explicative of that 😀
Watch comes head only but I will anyway include a good strap.
Please ask me via pm for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible.
Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. Given conditions and service I'm asking 4450 euros shipped and ensured everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Payment via bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is possible.
I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following links both as buyer and seller, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay can be provided if needed:

Before posting some pics -actually lots of them- thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
