The only thing I have appreciated about this thread so far is the use of the word whilst.
I don’t think people use the word betwixt enough.
Well, I’m gonna hit the hay and get up as the ass-crack of dawn to slave for the man and bring home the bacon.
That should be fun idioms for anyone using a language translator.
Superlatively cromulent words embiggen not only the scribe, but also the orator, and subsequently, will either confound or elate the audience.

Perhaps we could return to the primary topic of the thread. That being: the "new" Constellations suck. Discuss.

New Connie, Repugnant.

As a communicator I was taught that it is well to remember,

Big people use small words, small people use big words.

but that it is a generalisation and to have regard to the individual.

Now THIS is a Constellation.
Something we can agree on, that looks great on that green strap but would look better on my wrist

Reference 2887. Good luck finding one at all, let alone one with a black crosshair waffle dial and rose gold hardware.

I thank thee for thy well graced loquaciousness

Verily that which pointed dolefully south hath now found said direction confounded by a sudden urge to commend all northwards and with alacrity

Wait a minute, isn’t this about a watch? How could it all go so wrong.

I received an email from Omega this morning and the embedded link took me to this:
Aside from these new Constellations being hideous IMO, what’s with using the British spelling of jewelry on the USA website? Am I supposed to think that Omega is somehow more sophisticated as a result of using the British idiom? Omega, just between you and me, it’s not working. And please, for the love of God, go back to making Constellations that look like this:
Tastes are different. Therefore: There is no accounting for taste.
I think the new Constellation models are very beautiful! The green and pink dials look fantastic! It reminds me of the Chopard Alpine Eagle.
Around 90% of all watches in the Omega Collection are for men. Now Omega brings out something for women (which is rare) and then users like you complain that it's not a men's model.

My wife really likes the new Constellation with the pink dial, so she will certainly buy it if I don't beat her to it and give it to her as a present. 😉

I agree that tastes do vary. If the design appeals to you and your wife, that’s fine. I’m certainly not complaining because this particular model is designed for women. I’m complaining because I think that the modern Constellation designs are very unattractive IMO when compared to their 1950s predecessors. I’m not sure, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that Omega actually sells more watches worldwide to women than to men.
