Hi OF,
Hoping this is the right place to put this and that you can help me acquire my first vintage Omega.

It is described to be from the 1950s with a 5011 movement. Apparently original dial. Thoughts on if it's genuine and its value please?

Seems genuine to my eyes. Please see the bottom left of the last page of this article.

Someone may have done a very nice cleaning job on the dial. Looks a bit too bright, but the printing is exactly what is should be.

Selling prices on these are all over the board. You will need to do some internet research on these.

Hope this helps,

Did you ever find out more about the value of the watch? I have an identical one and I am considering selling it but can't really find any sales records.
Cheers!

I can but it's the same watch as above and I didn't want to hijack the thread 😀

My version of the 1958 Globemaster, Cal 501.
American made 10k gold filled case with steel back
According to my watch maker it's all genuine. The rotor has a mark on it and the gasket is wrong. The movement is clean and oil is ok.
Would love an idea of value as I am considering selling it
