Asking USD 8k but sold for USD 2k? Nice deal.

I´ve done more research and believe the czech republic was one of the countries that received more watches. (But i would fact check this statement.)
Wonder how the ebay seller came to this conclusion.

So now 16 examples known? If batch is really 288 pieces this means 5,5% which is - IMHO - high. My rule of thumb is 2-3%

Maybe it is not comparable, but these are more expensive than, as one example, an issued Zenith Cairelli?

Rarer and more sought after ; try to buy one Worldwide. I had 2 of these over the last 38 years. And both in the 1990's ; nothing after that. There is a massive Amount of Radium here. Perfect for Night Navigation in the late1930's . Next as hard to find as the 44 mm "Longines Mk11" from 1951 ; issued to the Royal Army .
