Asking USD 8k but sold for USD 2k? Nice deal.

I´ve done more research and believe the czech republic was one of the countries that received more watches. (But i would fact check this statement.)

Wonder how the ebay seller came to this conclusion.

So now 16 examples known? If batch is really 288 pieces this means 5,5% which is - IMHO - high. My rule of thumb is 2-3%

I bid but unfortunately did not win. Sent them an email and hope that they will forward it to the winner (but I assume the will not do that)

A - I think - new one emerged. Unfortunately no full serial disclosed. Movement serials appears to be 239.228 https://www.watchnet.co.jp/en/item/view/6295 Asking is EUR 17k. For that money I'd expected it to be serviced 😀

Rarer and more sought after ; try to buy one Worldwide. I had 2 of these over the last 38 years. And both in the 1990's ; nothing after that. There is a massive Amount of Radium here. Perfect for Night Navigation in the late1930's . Next as hard to find as the 44 mm "Longines Mk11" from 1951 ; issued to the Royal Army .
