Hi all,

I come across this omega constellation and I had double checked with some of my own research, the dial seems to be original and not redone, movement seems to check out too. The crown seems to be the original too however I am not 100% sure on it. Could any experts shine some knowledge on this watch.

Much appreciated

Unfortunately, the photos are not good enough to evaluate.

Yea those are some incredibly wonky photos really, needs to be far more in focus and clear to assess

Good pictures are needed to evaluate the dial better. To be more specific, the text is one key element to assess whether the dial has been refinished, alongside other things like minute marks etc.

In the pictures provided, it all looks weird. Could be because of the picture resolution, crystal scratches etc.

So try to take focussed pictures, in natural light, without a direct source of light on the watch. Don’t zoom with your phone, as this degrades quality. Better to take them from 20cm away or so and then zoom in on the screen. Ensure the focus and crispiness of the text and markers. Take pictures from different angles. And whilst you’re at it, you can also take pics of the case back, crown etc.

Looks like the ref.14393 with original thin decagonal crown.
Just adding the Meister name to the dial would depend on individual preference.

What is your opinion about the condition of the dial?

The dial doesnt seem to be reprinted at all, as a reprinted crosshair/meister would look slightly thicker. The dial condition itself is not perfect obviously, but I dont think its too shabby.
