I like the look of the bezel (very similar to some Heuer ones)...
I like the look of the Speedmaster...
but somehow I do not like how these look together!
added to the fact that the original bezel cannot be guaranteed to be removed safely, it's a no from me.

I like the look but isn't this type of bezel supposed to rotate, too?

If someone could do this and mod it to also ratchet like a dive bezel, it'd be all in. I frequently need to time two things at once. That's where my Sinn 103 gets a lot of use, but this would like so much cooler.

If it wasnt an insert only I would be interested as I've always wanted one of these bezels but as an insert on its own its a pain and vastly increases the price.....and I'm also not 100% sure it works on a standard Speedy, not that any of my Speedmasters are standard :D

Is there any tell tale to differentiate it from an OEM bezel?

I can’t work out why you would have this bezel when it doesn’t turn and the minute counter for the chronograph is on a subdial. Your only good for 0-60 on the chrono second hand.

( waiting for someone to mention why have a diver bezel on a watch that’s not waterproof )

Not exactly sure why I don't like them together, it just doesn't look quite right to me.

Can't understand the point. Perhaps it is so owners don't have to explain what a tacky is.

it's not waterproof ? but we have speedmaster for boat race now
funbezel with a fresh look, where the real deal is only interesting for about 15 people .... but i hope they are somehow markes so nobody will try to sell them as the original nasa bezel:whipped:

$200 for just an insert? $250 for installing an insert? Offering installation on supplied, possible vintage bezels to confound potential buyers?

I've got nothing against reinterpreting out of production vintage designs, as long as they are made clearly distinguishable from the originals.

This just smells like a really lazy cash grab to me.

Nope. It’s a pass from me (until I lose my marbles and can’t figure out the 5 minute increments on the dial).
