Does anyone know if 21mm quick release spring bars are compatible with PO 8900 bracelet. It is a pain to change bracelet and bands.

Thanks b

I am too nervous to use a quick release non OEM spring bar with my PO. The watch head is relatively heavy and thick. I cannot trust a possibly lower quality bar.
I do change strap and bracelet weekly. It gets easier. I also leave small clear tape on the backside of the lugs. You cannot see them

I can’t see how any quick release spring at will fit with the stock bracelet. They won’t work with standard straps either - you need a slot in the strap/bracelet for them to work.

there are plenty of straps you can buy that have quick-release bars, but you buy them with the strap.

One thing to be aware of with QR spring bars that I've seen several mentions of on various forums: if the little QR 'rod' breaks off (which they sometimes do), it can be extremely difficult to remove the spring bar without damage, as they don't have 'shoulders' like a regular spring bar. Personally I'd never use anything but a regular high quality Swiss spring bar on a premium watch.

I would avoid using quick release spring bars like the plague.
Not only that, straps come with a tear at the end that's already there from new.

agree, quick release spring bars should be paired with light, dress watches to be on the safe side. the heft of divers could take its toll

Practice it more.

QR spring bars on a diver is as crazy as flyscreens on a submarine
