What spring bars for Aqua Terra?

Hi,

New to the forum. I have just ordered my first Omega and went for the 38mm Aqua Terra on bracelet and also ordered the rubber strap. I haven't changed watch straps before so I'm a bit worried I might damage the springbars and wanted to have some spares. Does anyone know if a standard 1.8mm would fit ok or would I be better with something smaller such as 1.5mm? Also, I have read that Omega uses single flanged springbars and these are harder to remove than double flanged. Would you recommend I get double flanged or stick with single.

Any input appreciated!

Thanks!

Ask your local Omega AD/OB for 068ST2207 for nato/leather straps, 068ST2206 are for bracelets and the OEM rubber strap.

They are 1.8. Width is 19mm. Personally, I replace mine with a double flange springbar so it's easier to swap. I have Bergeon tweezers but the OEM springbars can be a bit fiddly to grip onto. I switch bracelets and straps a lot so I want something really easy to grip.
