Question for the SMP Summer blue people.

Most of the summer blue owners I have talked to say that they really find the case back comfortable, the person in here that commented they didn't like it was the first person I've seen to say that.

I was in a similar position as you, OP and ended up getting the blue Tudor Pelagos FXD. Price was a factor for me, along with other things. However, if I was deadset on getting a SMP, I would get the Summer Blue over the regular blue. But with a rumored smaller SMP coming out soon, I would wait and see.

My PO is very legible. The time pops out at a quick glance. It might be the shape of the hands or the slightly different blue. If I do tilt it, it's to admire the changing dial as opposed to reading the time.

Note that I owned an Apollo 8 DSOTM briefly. That was a hard watch to read the time. The PO Summer blue is easier to read than a vintage speedy IMO.

I have no negative experience with the caseback on the wrist. I find the PO very comfortable, possibly due to the smaller case size. It lays well on my 7.25 inch wrist. It is a tall watch, but I am getting used to seeing that.

Btw. I took it to Japan. This was the first time I needed a highly accurate watch. Those trains leave exactly on the minute and you better be on it or it's gone.
