Summer blue SMP arrived

A few months back I was debating summer blue and traditional blue. Went with the traditional one at the time, but I guess the SB grew on me as this arrived this morning.

I really like it and the deployant clasp was a bonus. Entered it on the website and according to the testing this thing only gains 1 second a day which is definitely my most accurate watch!

I was concerned originally this watch would be too casual, but I have no such concerns now. Also, I know there has been conversation about the indices blending in too much with the blue, so far they seem to be perfectly visible against the darker blue....unlike the concern I have about the double black.

Now, I keep saying I'm done, but currently have 4...plus my one remaining squale...quite an upgrade in quality. Who knows maybe I'll bite the bullet and decide an ultra deep isn't too ostentatious lol...

Excellent pickup! The concern about the legibility of the indices has mostly been brought up by people who have probably never won the watch, I had similar questions before picking mine up but no longer have them. My summer blue Heritage has seen a ton of daily wear and I find it to be incredibly legible in all lighting conditions. Telling time is not an issue. And agreed, it is definitely not a casual look, these actually look quite dressy in a sort of non-traditional way.

Welcome to the summer blue club!
