Question about for sale threads

How many posts or how long do I need to be a member of the forum before I can reply to for sale adds? It says insufficient privileges or membership pending where I would type a reply. I’ve been a member for years just don’t post much. Thanks for any feedback.

It’s a pyramid scheme, if you send $10 to 10 members, you’ll get privileges

You don't need to reply to for-sale ads. If you want to purchase a watch, just send the seller a PM.

If you want to place your own sales listing, then you need more posts. At your current rate, you will be eligible in 2065. 😁

The funny thing is that this is a common misconception. Many members seem to think they need 200 posts to buy a watch. A seller may want to vet you as a buyer if you don't have much history, so you should be prepared to offer some personal information if it's requested. But there aren't any rules about that.

On the other hand, new members constantly join solely in order to buy a watch they see in the sales forum. In fact, that was actually why I originally joined, but unfortunately someone else bought the watch before my membership was approved. 😒

But on an upward trajectory. 👍
