How do I gain the privilege to comment on sale and WTB threads?

    Hi all!

I'd like to know how I can gain the privilege to create a sale or 'want to buy' thread. I've tried looking for the information in the 'terms and rules' section of the forum but to no avail.

Is it determined by the number of posts and 'likes' that you make? The amount of time that you've been a member?

Any and all comments are appreciated! Thanks in advance.

AND just a photo of what I'm wearing today to keep things a little more exciting on this thread. Share yours!

    His and hers.

Which I don't feel is necessarily fair if you want to catch and release.

This isn't a selling platform. It's a discussion forum with a small sales platform attached for the benefit of contributing members.

If you need to sell you have many options such as eBay, part ex-ing/selling to dealers, chrono24, posting meaning content here to get up to 200 posts...

On ebay you can set your price as you can here. No one forces you to start low with no minimum. The buy it now feature is a set price. You reach many more potential buyers and that is a good thing. You could also start low with a comfortable minumim which would give you a chance to see the market. If you post on a forum there is no guarantee of a higher price. On a knife forum I use sales between members often seem a bit lower than they might have been on the fleabay.

Your best bet is go up the 'uninformed, but we'll intentioned, old bollocks' route.::shy::
I'm heading for 2000 posts using this tried and trusted, horological tourettes, approach!

Its ok. Looks like you will reach there anyway considering your speed in posting comments here.

BTW post farmers (obviously not referring to you;) ) should note that having at least 200 post count merely gives them privileges to post ads for sales etc. It doesnt actually mean , that suddenly people will start buying from them... coz that happens when members have at least some basic level of trust . And post farming isnt a great way to build trust..
