60's or 70's,
Automatic preferred,
Stainless steel preferred but not worried with gold,
No preference on dial bar from black but I assume that's going to be harder to get/ more expensive,
Budget wise isn't too much of a concern as long as it's reasonable for the watch, don't mind spending a bit extra for a reputable seller

Same seller (seekingseaquest) on IG has this lovely black dial 2852 gold capped Connie -- I have been eyeing it up but have others in the queue from him that need to come first. 馃榾

Aesthetics wise I'm happy with how the condition of this one is, just wondering if the dial will hold up as someone mentioned degradation with blisters on a previous example?

The dial and hands are mostly nice, imo. The case seems to have been polished, which is a common deterrent for most of the members here (definitely for collectors). The movement is a little rough, so definitely factor in the cost of having it serviced (very roughly, about $300 depending on where you are).

The condition looks better on that one. Dial is pretty clean, a little pitting on hands and case, case polished, dirty movement, but nothing too terrible overall. Just based on the visual condition of the movement, you probably should plan for a service as noted above.

Regarding price, if you're in the US and buying through eBay, don't forget that you will need to add sales tax. Also, if you later want to buy a beads of rice bracelet for it, you will pay another $200-$250. So just put that into context when comparing to other options.

At some point the bushing on the rotor was worn, if this hasn't been fixed it will need to be addressed.
