Printed Face

Hi from a very new member.

I'm in the market for a very nice watch and have looked at the Rolex submariner and a range of omega watches. i had almost decided on the omega Seamaster 300 but read that the face of the Seamaster 300 is printed. my limited understanding of this is the minute markers, omega logo and associated writing on the dial is printed. as opposed to individual items on other watches are placed on top of the watch face. is this correct ?

Is this something that you as Omega owners considered when buying a watch or is it a non-issue ? Is there any issues/drawbacks with printed watch faces ?

Thanks for any help or recommendations.

Dave

Which Seamaster 300 are we talking, the SM300 Master Co-Axial or the Seamaster Pro 300M or a vintage Seamaster 300?

seamaster 300 master co-axial.
SM300 is printed to match the vintage SM300 which was also printed, it also has the recessed lume of the CK2913. Makes no difference whether applied or painted its just a matter of style and preference, but the SM300 is an excellent watch.

Thankyou for the information. I like the fact the printed face is a match with the original watch. the more I read and learn about the omega watches the more I see in the watches. the SM300 seems to have the best of the omegas in one watch. 300M water resistant, 15000 gausse, ceramic bezel with liquid metal numbers and an adjustable bracelet strap for comfort. whats not to love about this watch.

The SM300 is such a handsome piece. You've got to see one in person and try it on. To me, it wears a little smaller on the wrist than what I expected from pictures, but that could just be due to all the photos people take of their watches being 6 inches from the camera. Thumbs up for the SM300!
