·Hi all,
Up for sale today is my Heuer Autavia ref 1163 in stainless steel. This is a slightly earlier version as it precedes the more common Viceroy promotion model 1163V. The watch comes on its original and seldom seen Gay Freres bracelet.
Case: The Piquerez case appears thick and unpolished with the fine original sunburst finish on the upper case remaining intact. Bevels are very well defined. As expected of a 50 year old watch, there are some scratches and nicks on the case. Ref and serial # are legible between the lugs.
Dial: Matte black dial is clean and sub-dials are very white. Tritium is original, couple lume plots are missing at 3 and 6.
Hands: Hands are in excellent condition without any missing red paint. Tritium is original.
Bezel/Insert: Bezel is in very good condition. Rich, glossy black insert with a few light scratches.
Movement: Previous owner stated a service by Heuer in Switzerland in 2020 but I do not have paperwork. Very clean! All functions work smoothly and keeps good time.
Bracelet: Original Gay Freres bracelet with correct HLF end links. Fits 7.75" wrist.
