It’s unfortunately a bit too small at less than 33mm. I was open to the effort and $ needed to fix assuming it was bigger, but now I’m not so sure.

I am a sucker for projects and the case is in great condition. Don't forget that the watch will wear much bigger than a time only because of the pushers and the thicker case.

All projects take time but they are a great reward if they work out. If you pass on it, I would be interested it the price is right.

EDIT: and if you don't try you'll never know...

That's pretty small. And the bezel is substantial, so it will not wear particularly large on the wrist.

I've got a lovely 32.5mm chronograph ... I hate to be that guy but "size isn't everything" .

Now, the UG is cosmetically appealing. What I would do is call around my watchmakers and ask how they are fixed for availability of parts for that calibre. I suspect some parts will be a struggle. If you can get a ballpark price then you can work out where you need to be to buy it without coming a-cropper.

After that, it's just horse trading.

Personally, I'd be willing to spend the money to bring that one back.

To update everyone who chimed in, the watch finally showed up a week ago and is now on it's way to an OF member who plans to bring it back to life😀 I for one am glad that this guy gets another chance to be on someone's wrist.

It’s a beauty and worth a second chance for sure.
