·It seems to me that when you look at the quality of the watches, the prestige of the brand and the price you pay , it's pretty "cheap", that means, according to me, that the UG are not as wanted as other similar brands. Am I wrong ?

UGs are very much collected, appreciated, and valued. In terms of price, I guess it's all relative, depends on what you are comparing too....

yes, personal engraving. The watch is not necessarily from 1939 if you are basing it on the inscription, it could be earlier. the serial will tell. This may also be pre 5 digit coding, again the caseback will tell.
I don't see this case or exact dial in Sala, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
The crown looks like a replacement, as is the left sub seconds hand.
