I just went to their website. Given the watches they have for sale there, they know better. There is absolutely no excuse for what they did to you. I'd file a complaint with the better business bureau and with the associations they claim to be members of.

^ It's been modified to accept a regular springbar.

I'm open to suggestions.

I had no idea about those 'female' springbars - I was wrestling with the ratty strap my Tricompax came on for ages! That's one thing I'm glad never caught on...

I can imagine that's what happened to my two male tips.

" must be rusted, cut it off I guess"

Three minutes later, " oh, shit!!"

I was up for a project and @Dre gave me a great deal on this beautiful Plerouter Super.

I didn't think finding original cal. 69 parts would be that hard.

It needed a new:
Inner male stem
Minute wheel
canon pinion

It took just over 5 months to get up and running again and it looks great on this nice strap gifted from @Lonestar

Now I'm stuck with a mint case that my watchmaker wasn't so keen on using, he tried getting the original crystal off and didn't manage. It will be for phase 2 I guess.

Hello,

I've been reading the forums for some time now but this is my first post. My Universals are a gold capped Polerouter Microtor with 215 movement (patent pending) and a Polerouter Super, Cal. 69.Neither watch is perfect, the gold capped one has a non-original seconds hand while the super has a fair amount of spotting to the dial. Thanks to the forum I've known what to look out for when getting these and have avoided the worst examples - the Super, though a bit spotty, has a nice unpolished case, original crystal and crown.

Hello from France !
I've been following this thread and the UG sub-forum for months as guest.
Finally I took the time to sign up, so I can show you my very modest UG collection...

Here's the first UG I bought several years ago: a Polerouter Genève with 69 Microtor movement.

It's been my only watch and my daily one for maybe 2 years.

Then in 2013 I found this one : a Polarouter with 138 SS bumper movement in great condition and with its original crown.
I now have maybe 20 watches, but this one is still my favourite, I'll probably never sell it !
I especially love the feeling of the bumpers bumping when I move 😀

Then I found a nice Compax that I liked a lot when I saw it on eBay.
I almost never wear it though because it's gold plated...
The dial looks ok to me, I think the crown is not original.

This is a cheap one with a 262 movement.
I bought it because I liked its simplicity and its blue hands 😀
I don't know if this model has a name 😕

And finally a blue dialed lady's watch I bought NOS for my wife, who wears it daily.
I had to change the strap because it was falling into pieces because of its age, but of course I kept the buckle.
