I've had this 1943 Tri-Compax 22536 on the wrist for about two weeks now and have loved it!

The case is in fantastic condition and it's lugs are sharp! Serviced this year and keeps fantastic time. I'll get around to shooting it with my DSLR, but for now these iPhone shots will do.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
Is this the one with lume work?

It's an early one, with the protruding pushers for the complications, and in amazing condition !

Did you buy it as completely original? Have you been warned about any issue by the seller?

The seller Vesper is a reputable dealer. The watch was claimed to be original but needs servicing.

Edward, the dial of this watch is not original. It's a redial, which mean the value of this watch is only for the case and movement ...

Vesper was offering a Polerouter before claiming it had a microtor movement when it was in fact it had a bumper movement.

Sorry, @EdwardNY , but I think all three are redials. It has been mentioned here that all UG's with hour subdials should have a radial configuration when it comes to the numbers. the first two watches you posted have upright numbers. The first and third also have other dial concerns (i.e. sloppy prints).

I just spoke to Vesper the watch was purchased from the original owner and he says its 100% original. What is giving you reason to say that its a redial.

The dial has been repainted and not in a very good way, what is bad, very bad for the watch (in a collector point of view)

If the seller told you this and you were aware of the issue, then it's fine, enjoy your watch and wear it in good health

If the seller didn't told you this and only told you about the need of service, well he's not very knowledgeable about UG... Or worse...

The other two were also bought to the same dealer?

The other two were cheap Bay purchases not really investments just to wear. For what I paid they were at parts prices.

@EdwardNY it's not against you, but the three watches you posted are very bad redial, especially the tri compax ... Most easiest way to tell, there is no "tri compax" on it ... 🤦

@EdwardNY ... Unfortunately the first and last are definitely redials. and bad ones. I'm not hopeful, but not completely sold as yet on the Compax 30 being wrong but I also cant find any like it. . Perhaps someone with deeper experience could weigh in. Regardless, it is the most presentable of the three. Do consult the forum in the future before you buy and be wary of dealers.. Sorry we had to be the bearers of tough news.
