... Often enough you heard or read folks saying "its my rolex/omega! I'll wear it and when i get the first ding; its because its my ding!" I'm just wondering how ding-ed up are modern omegas?

Honestly, I try to keep my watches as pristine as possible (with the possibility that I might need to sell it for whatever reasons). So, even the lug scratches on my watches cause me some heartache.

I'm still weighing upon which watch should I keep (if i had to choose only one modern timepiece)

Anyways! Post them up!

I don't baby this watch. It's been diving, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, and a ton more. It's my "get s*** done" watch.

It's also the watch that I wore at my wedding. [emoji1360]

Looks like it's still in good shape though!

I don't baby it. It's the perfect daily driver that looks great on just about any strap available! Need a "new" watch? Just change the strap! That's the beautiful of the Speedy Pro!

The scratches I have are mostly on the bracelet. There are also tiny scratches on the case and lug, but hard to photograph using my iphone. Oh, the clasp too.

I have my Speedy for about 5 months now and I wear it everyday doing everything with it. I do not baby it.

The Speedy is currently my gada. Office, gym, mall, mine site....beach, not for a swim though, when I'm on site I often have lunch at the beach, love the view [emoji16] It's been to quite a lot of places.

Here's a pic of the scratches on the bracelet. The other side has some too.

On a flight to the site.

So, don't worry if you wear it, it will get scratches.

Anyone with a scratched case xSOTM in the room? Scratched case anyone?! There in the back rows?
(couldn't help myself, let's see what pops up).

I love being a "one-watch" guy. This has been my daily for years, and I wear it quite literally for everything outside of sleeping (and sometimes I sleep with it on, too.)

The more scratches the merrier. In fact, I don't plan on having it polished at next service time. 😀

[sigh] I wish I could be a "one-watch" guy.

You should try it. 😀 I've gotten rid of 4 Rolex watches, among quite a few others, to get there. It's quite liberating. 😁

You must be an enlightened being! 😁 Please show me the way! (actually, what indeed was your process in whittling down and choosing just "the one"?)

After over two years of ownership, no huge dings yet [thanks to the Rothco and Raine Inc. protective bands]. Have boat loads of small scratches/blemishes, however...but that was to be expected.

I've just never vibed with being a collector. With most things, from guitars to cars to watches...to mates lol, I tend to follow the pattern of (over)research, acquire several options, figure out what I want, then pick my favorite. My 2500 AT works for everything from rock climbing to going to dinner, so it was a pretty easy choice, and it's more comfortable than any Rolex I've owned.

Nope sorry, my DSOTM's case is as good as new. On the other hand it is back in Bienne because of an AR coating defect.

Naaaaaaaaaa, I think I´d had a very hard time doing it. Not to mention the awful heartache.

I must admit I baby mine totally.

After 8 years I've kept it down to some scratches on the clasp, each one a scratch in my heart as well.

Can't help it, just love my Seamaster.

Here is my Seamaster (2231.80.00). I wore this almost 12 years straight. Owned about 19 years.

Titanium wears and feels great. Unit takes a lot of scuffing.
