·This is a new one from Jan in blue to match the snowflake. I live about a mile from the horween factory and have tried a lot of different straps, Jan's are my favorite. The factory is a neat (though foul smelling) place, the process that they go through to turn the horse hide into cordovan is fascinating.

Unfortunately it would have a lot of seams 🙁. Each horsehide has a small section of leather used to make cordovan. The guys at the factory explained that's the reason why just about any cordovan belt you buy has a seam to join 2 pieces.

*edit - it looks like classic Loro Piani fabric - perhaps a Zegna blazer? Houndstooth?? I could be a million miles off; regardless, that watch/strap/fabric all work together in most complimentary fashion and looks like a million bucks.
At this moment, there is very literally "panic buying" going on in Rolexland. Never in the history of man (except for Dutch Tulip bubble, the Dutch India trading cooperatives, the California Gold Rush and then The Alaska and Yukon Territories Gold rush, The Stock market bubble of 1929, The Oil Wildcatting boom in west Texas, The Internet inspired NASDAQ 5000 Bubble of the late Clinton era, the US Housing Market bubble of the 2000's, The Ontario Housing Bubble of 2010's),,,except for those and a thousand more examples has there ever been such widespread pure unadulterated PANIC BUYING of High end Swiss watches. More to come. It looks like prices could double or triple with a quickness. Buy today or pay more tomorrow!!!!!! /end rant

Yes!! Let the games begin, release the hounds, engage the thrusters! It will be a interesting time to watch, but not so if you are out on the hunt for a special Rolex, or really any other Swiss brand. I expect there will be some rational action in the end, but there may also be some victims...those companies which are not on a growth path may go bottoms up!

Budget horween from Amazon (not a shell cordovan) but really a good bang for the buck... Sorry picture taken when first changing the strap and more focused on the watch

·FLUCO makes a nice Horween for the money - definitely not as nice as some of the boutique straps here, but also about 1/2 the price.
