I just ordered some, so not here yet. It would be interesting to see all the brands, forms and colors of members Horweens with the watches they have attached them to. As mine are in transit, I thought I would start with an image of Ashley's A386 with Horween strap.
Mine was made by Jan, @jankoxxx, here, I love that strap the slight reddish tone to it really works well with the dial and he does excellent work
Rover Haven nato in cognac: The white balance is off in the second photo (the lume should be yellow) so the color isn't perfect. And the strap has darkened as it's aged on the wrist.
First time I've used this strap but I kind of like this rally style one. Don't often see them in shell. It actually is the right size, I just squished the leather a bit when I was putting in the springbar.
FLUCO makes a nice Horween for the money - definitely not as nice as some of the boutique straps here, but also about 1/2 the price. here are some examples
I just bought this FLUCO, I like the fact that it does not have a GIANT keeper like some do and it does not have 11-12 holes!, like some do. Now all I have to do is figure out which one of Lou's Zeniths he is going to sell me. I intend to buy a few horweens from the members here that make them too,.... Lou has a lot of watches.
Both watch and strap are just fantastic! I will have to order one of those straps! Now where can I order one of those watch? DIBS
I wish I hadn't opened this thread. Now I must have one, but don't know what to put it on. Don't think they would suit a diver would they? Maybe @citizenrich could give me some Horween guidance. Oh, hang on, he had one but didn't know what it was! Cheers Jim
