Hi there ... I wanted to point you at Herndon Clock and Watch ( https://herndonclockandwatch.com/) ... Owned and operated by Dung Lam

He is my watch guy. He recently serviced my 1960s 18K Omega Constellation. He did a wonderful job on that just as he has with my Breitlings. He replaced the crystal with an Omega OEM as well as the crown. Provided photos of the disassembled watch before and after cleaning. He followed my wishes with regard to not polishing, cleaning the dial without removing patina, etc. I could not be more happy with him. He is a wonderful sweet gentleman also.

Another thing he did for me … I have an old 1988 Cyma that was essentially destroyed. Quartz movement slagged, Crystal missing, delicate case twisted. I gave it to him with the closest thing to the original movement (NOS) that I could obtain after considerable searching for months. He straightened the case, and made this thing fully operational. He had to do some craftsmanship in the movement to get the hands to fit under the crystal. And his price was very reasonable.

Another thing that he did that shows what a standup guy he is, I had a dead Tissot Swissmatic that l learned has a movement that is not really serviceable. It is apparently assembled permenantly and rather than service it, they just replace the whole movement. He told me rather than him do it, send it to Swatch Group and maybe they would do it cheaper. (which they did). He could have made an easy couple hundred off of me but he didn't.

He sells Citizen, Tissot, some Casios, and Seiko. Gives huge discounts on Seiko. Also sells grandfather clocks, wall clocks, and authentic German cuckoo clocks.

If you are in Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC .... this is a great watchmaker.
Thanks very much, tk8lm6! He sounds like a great watchmaker and person. I'll add him to my list of possibles!

Epilogue: That Constellation was keeping very accurate time after he serviced it.. 50+ Year old watch. It was like <3 SPD or so.
