Looking for more information on inherited Seamaster

As title states trying to get more information about my omega seamaster that I've inherited.

From what i can see it is a two tone white and gold honey comb/waffle dial, case sizing seems to be about 34mm, really don't much more information apart from that.

Hoping someone on here with a bit more knowledge can shine some light on what model seamaster this is and roughly what time period it is from.

Have not yet had a chance to get it to a watchmaker to do so, will update with photos after doing so.

Prob an early 50s 2577 bumper or similar. Nice that’s it’s a chronometer spec one.

Very nice watch! As @padders says, it's a ref. 2577 and it is probably from around 1954-1957 or so. I don't recall having seen those numerals before.

I'd put it earlier maybe, 1952-55 at a guess, I don’t recall seeing too many bumpers after the full rotor 50x movements came along in ‘55 and that looks like a bumper caseback. Agreed it’s an unusual dial.

The logo type is one introduced at some point in 1953 and the old one was used on special dials such as chronometers, textured or black ones after the new one was introduced (probably due to these being sold at a slower pace), which to me means that it is probably from 1954 or newer.

You are right about the full-rotors - somehow I recalled that they were from 1957 😵‍💫

Will update with photos of the movement when I get round to a watchmaker.
