so they stuck with 42mm (and the He valve, though I didn’t really think they’d drop that). Too bad.

The black one is really nice. Still deciding whether I really like the pure monochromatic look of it or miss the dash or red.

The Ti bezel one is quite shockingly hideous, in my opinion. Like I can’t believe they actually released it. Maybe it’ll be a stunner in the metal, but the pictures are a total disaster.

I wonder if these will be boutique only for a while—anyone know?

Wonder why it’s .2 mm thicker despite not having a date function.

So I did a pretty good job on my mockup hey? 😜

I have to say, while the domed crystal (which we knew) and the thickness and diameter (which we expected) are not my favourite, the matte bezel is nice and the dial is absolutely awesome. They really nailed making it look more modern than the OG Bond guilloche effect, while still getting the overall style much more faithful than the current gen ceramic dial, which I've frankly never liked.

I really hope this dial is a taste of the direction of the next generation Seamaster, although I suspect it might not be.

The brushed silver one is a real surprise and while cool, I wouldn't buy it. It's a bit too much of a good thing.

Good question. Something to do with the bezel perhaps?

It puts me off so much that the bracelet has no end links... looks like an aftermarket $20 job.

The bad news is that this is uninspiring. I was hoping for a smaller SMP. The good news is that I don't want to buy any more expensive watches so this helps. A 39 or 40mm variant in blue would have had me forking over my money.

They grey one was unexpected. I like how it looks. Wouldn't sell my green seamaster to buy this one though. I suppose purists will appreciate the no-date update, but non-collectors probably would go for the date models; it's always convenient to have the date on your wrist on your daily watch.

The bracelet is great, better feeling and fit compared to the old school non-tapering one.

Isn’t it to do with the domed sapphire

I like them both, and would consider them, but I'd probably buy the Nekton & ceramic versions instead ....

So maybe these are simply to create a lower entry point?

Yes that’s right. The Omega product page doesn’t mention anything about a new crystal, but RJ at Fratello says the domed crystal is new.

$600 more than a steel on steel diver 300 with date? No thanks. and I already have an all titanium one anyway.

The domed crystal was used on the No Time To Die and then again on the 60th Anniversary Bond, so these are two more using the domed crystal and the first on a non-Bond watch.

Ugh, many of the Instagram comments are typical of those I loathe when talking about the Seamaster Professional 300m. Why HEV, down with the old, dated bracelet, muh ceramic, too big, etc. I don't know what else people should be talking about, but I tire of reading about it, I guess.

They look okay, but nothing that I want to go look at. I'd be interested if Omega went back to aluminum bezels and old-style wave dials, though.

I noticed this today for all Seamaster 300M models:

“The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and are filled with white Super-LumiNova…”

Maybe I missed it earlier, but when did they move on from having blue/green lume?

It’s still blue/green but when they say white they mean the daylight color is white rather than the vintage patina looking color found on the No Time To Die
