@onthedial Please read, and follow the rules:

• There is a limit of ONE thread, OR ONE bump, or one post, per day (24 hours) (regardless of number of watches listed) on the Private Watch Sales forum per person, use consideration.
• Listing a watch and bumping a watch is not permitted.
• Marking an item SOLD or OHPF is not classed as a bump but a simple update to the listing, these will be allowed

• These are already assigned in the title bar, all you have to do is click 'no prefix' and select the correct one. We do not want to see the words 'For Sale/Wanted OR no prefix at all. Other members can select the correct prefix which means you can too. See here for how to do it

@cvalue13, I really appreciate your posts on OF, but couldn't you just have marked the watches here as SOLD in the title instead of bumping them?



I know it isn't against the rules, but that is three other new posts pushed to page two of the Latest feed which is where me and a lot of others browse through OF...

Ah jeez, apologies to all.

On the front end, I’ve so rarely sold watches that I’m not agile with all the courtesy (though I did study the letter if not spirit of the rules); on the back end, I did not expect to make a package sale of 4 watches at once that culminated in the apparent spam moment.

Which is all to say, it won’t happen again.

I have to confess, I just started two threads in one day on the private sales forum. My mistake, I should have re-read the rules before posting.


I don't know how to best atone for my error. Sending a PM to a mod would likely just to add to their annoyance.

I am really sorry I thought I could bump all my watches for sale. I now read the rules better. Thanks for reminding me to read them again.

However I am not bumping frequently at all. If you see my bumps they are not every day like so many other sales...

When you finally get to 200 posts but forget to read the rules

 

Wonder how this can happen as it needs to be approved by a mod first. To my knowledge, that is.

 

Mods do approve these, but they also have a lot already on their plates. We as members should also know the rules as to not make their lives more difficult

Nothing to do at this point, but just make sure you aren’t “bumping” them, etc, during the same 24hr period going forward

I’m surprised a mod didn’t spot that, I wonder how those 3 got approved together? Maybe they thought he was selling in the commercial section where there is no limitation.
