Hi

I recently bought this watch and it's not the first time that after i buy something i notice that not everything it's ok..
I am just a collector with limited knowledge and seems that i am still not very careful to details..
So i was in a hurry thinking that i will make a good deal which of course i start to feel that was not so good..馃榾
After i bought this watch i checked other pictures on Net and i saw that the hands are not correct.. except that can you please let me know if you spot other defects? Also how much do you think will be a fair price for this watch..

Thank you and here are the pictures..

the number on the end of the case , 166.0300, is a reference number. its from the dark years of the 1990s. I'm sure the experts here will have more information on it.

It鈥檚 a good trouble free and simple movement in a nice case in gold that nearly everyone has forgotten leading to low prices.

I actually like the look. Reminds me of a Cellini I had. Do you really want to know how much you overpaid? It May effect your ability to enjoy it if it鈥檚 too late to return. Hopefully what drove you to pick it up is enough to just enjoy it. We learn from our mistakes including not doing due diligence on purchases. No need to beat yourself up you paid a fair price maybe 2.50 too much but you will make it up elsewhere, it鈥檚 just a watch.

I wanted to know if i overpaid because i am thinking to sell the watch to a person which have the knowledge to replace the hands with the correct ones. I am a little uncomfortable if i know that are not the correct ones and feel that i can not enjoy it..

It鈥檚 a nice dress watch, but it might be tricky finding the correct hands. I was interested to see what they looked like and they are a lot nicer, so I understand your concern. Best of luck, I hope someone here can assist.

I don't think those are the correct hands either. The Omega Extranet call up simple 18k gold baton hands...new set is going to be about $300.
