I've tried to get a closer look at the LT's watch which featured prominently in a couple of episodes.
In one he was washing his socks and pulled his expanding band up high above his wrist to avoid getting the watch wet. In another he and a fellow officer had been knocked out by a grenade blast. the Germans , thinking the LT dead, stole both their watches, pulling them straight off the wrist. I'm interested in exactly what brand of band his watch used . It seemed very flexible with a wide range of expansion. Probably a scissors type.

"This is a Rouchefoucauld. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. This is *the* sports watch of the '80s. Six thousand, nine hundred and fifty five dollars retail! It tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad!"

It’s not a movie but this yacht master was featured throughout the entire series.

That looks like the version that I gave up to help me get my Pepsi GMT II earlier this year.

Netflix: Rim of the World Speedy?

Not a speedy. Screw down pushers but not a Daytona. Maybe a seiko or citizen quartz that has screw down pushers.

JLC in "Doctor Strange"
DOC-STRANGE-EE.jpg

At one point he opens up a drawer of watch winders looking for a correct piece to wear to his speaking event, hops in his Lamborghini and crashes which is how he becomes dr strange to begin with

"Death wish" with B. Willis. I really liked how the main character said that he likes his old Panerai, bit later gladly accepted a new one from his wife as a gift. Watch was very nicely featured! A must-see for Panerai fans! Sorry if this was mentioned before, I didn't read the entire thread.

not prominently but it looks like Dennis Quaid wore a Speedmaster as " Gordo Cooper " in The Right Stuff (1983)

I just saw a movie last night called "Dakota" from 1974 where the pilot wore a Speedmaster Professional.

Daylight with Sly. He went through a Panerai phase, wore one in a lot of his movies.

Watched the 1955 film "The Ladykillers" on TV for the umpteenth time recently and was reminded of the scene with Alec Guiness Tissot
