In the TV mini Series "the Strain" the elderly vampire hunter, who had been a pawn broker in Europe since the end of WW2 pays off the leader of a criminal gang with his vintage watch. The watch apparently worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. I've tried before unsuccessfully to find any mention of this watch or a clip from the series showing it.
It was an X-33 gen1. The producers of the movie wanted a futuristic watch, and liked the shape of the X-33 but BVGARI ponied up bucks for product placement. So the producers simply CGIed BVGARI’S name and a furturistic screen onto the real Omega dial. Rumor is Omega sued and it was settled out of court.

That Pocket Watch he examined was really great, I think he hired the maker to work on his inventions. The king had a tiny watch that was built into a ring. Another cool piece.
