Anyone seen Netflix’s Uncut Gems?

Nice watch placements for AP and Rolex, among others.

This is my closest impersonation of Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner.

Since i dont have a YG/diamond encrusted Rolex and gold ferragamos.
Wearing a watch on the right wrist doesn't work out so well if you have the crown towards your hand, unless its one of those rare upside down Poseidon Adventure comemmoratives.

Magnum PI

Isn't the Rolex one of Robin Masters's that Magnum borrowed?
I could be wrong but Magnum is constantly making a habit of "borrowing" stuff from his boss/friend/ benefactor.

Thought this was interesting
Very silly. While all Psychopaths wear Rolex only 45% of Rolex wearers are psychopaths.

Can't find a screenshot of it, but in the original War of the Worlds the main character shows a nervous crowd at a town dance that his watch has become magnetized just after the first alien ship lands just outside of town.

I'll have to go back and see if I can tell what it is.

Great movie

Magnum PI

Magnum PI is why I have my own 16710 BLRO. That's where I first saw the watch and immediately wanted one.

The Equalizer, with Denzel Washington.

The watch was a Suunto Core.
Love both the Equalizer movies. Denzel Washington is one actor I'll go see whatever movie he makes. I'll take a chance on him and Morgan Freeman.

I have a Suunto Core All Black but I can never get the stopwatch function to work full screen. It's always a tiny little window on the bottom.

I recently picked up a DVD of that movie. I'll dig it out and see what I can extract.

Then I'll need something else to do for the rest of the 4 months isolation 🙁

The Avengers TV series from the 1960s, 1968 episode 5 Have Guns - Will Haggle

Chief baddie is wearing this:

While Ms King has this:

At first I thought it might be a Heuer Carrera with those lugs and the white tension ring, but sadly no sub-dials.

He is, of course, a mirror image-or his watch pocket is on the left.

Rewatched Paul Newman in HUD last night.
Now I noticed that a nice looking watch was a part of his attire in every scene.
It seemed a bit out of place for the character he was playing
Anybody know what watch he was wearing?

Name a watch that didn't figure in a movie ... Jack Swigert's personal Rolex GMT-master 1675 Pepsi GMT pilot watch in Apollo 13

We never see the face of the watch, sorry.

Now I've dug it out that makes it tonight's featured movie chez MRC.

An old friend of Mrs Peel turns up wearing this

After his murder one of the culprits is given away because he is now wearing it

My wife watching this korean TV series Crash Landing Into You.

With the quarantine, cant help but watch myself.

Two chopard watches figured prominently in the plot - a Happy Sport and an Alpine Eagle (or the predecessor of the current Alpine Eagle).

Sadly, no pics.
