Having read through the entire thread, it became tedious that rather than posting watches that feature prominently in the plot of a movie, about 1/2 the posts were about just watches in movies/TV, etc.

Your post about Bale/Cheney’s Day-Date could be misinterpreted as not being plot-important, but I think there’s something intentionally meta about featuring Cheney wearing the “President” when negotiating with W. Bush...

now, here’s a post that runs afoul of not one but three violations: first, not a plot point; second, not a movie; and third, not the most important watch worn by Hamm’s character (at least, on this forum):

Kidding aside, Draper’s crosshair Omega is what first brought me to OF years ago...

I did not see this one mentioned already.

In Blue Jasmine, Cate Blanchett's character learns of her husband's indiscretions when he forgets his "Rolex" in a hotel room in Paris. I couldn't make out the specific model, if one was worn in the film, but it's a significant plot point.

From that photo, it appears to be either a Rolex sub or Tudor sub. He appears to be more widely known to be a Rolex/sub guy, so likely it’s a Rolex rather than Tudor. (See, e.g., Galaxy Quest where he wore a Daytona). I think he wore a sub in ‘Home Improvement,’ too.

Awesome! That's what I thought as well. I really liked it in the series and now will hopefully be my next watch haha. I'm guessing it's a 116610 over the 16610?

If anyone can answer that based on this photo, they’ll be someone much more familiar with Rolex subs than me. That said, it does not in that photo appear to be a super-case; if so, then pre-2008.

Do multi-millionaires from Denver, Co, posing as rednecks have the same watch tastes?

Captain Nathan Brittles, presented by his troopers on his retirement with a 'solid silver watch with a ‘sentiment'', and used by him to check that he was still the ranking officer before leading them into his final action.

    Anyone seen Netflix’s Uncut Gems?

Nice watch placements for AP and Rolex, among others.

This is my closest impersonation of Adam Sandler as Howard Ratner.

Since i dont have a YG/diamond encrusted Rolex and gold ferragamos.
