Recent purchase think dial, bezel bakelite flat 1 looks ok, curly 3, gilt dial, original crystal has cracks inside it which makes watch look ugly. Questions this movement 550 which I'm nervous about. I've read on guide on these watches and 550 movement few numbers were made for U.S. market. Please help if you see anything suspicious on dial bezel etc ..

I am no expert, but there are quite a few threads here on this model. Try the search feature and/or Google "site: omegaforuns.net vintage Seamaster 300"

I recall detailed posts about what to look for.

not a huge fan of the olongopo bracelet, but the historical value on your piece is priceless.

Cal 550 and the "OXG" sign near the regulator is a good sign and it implies the watch was imported to the USA. Lovely watch!

Nobody's mentioned it, so I will. If your not a watch guy and you have no plans on wearing it. Leave it alone. Its not worth getting it serviced if your just going to put it back in the drawer.
