I may have first seen this on Ash's Modern Omegas on eBay thread?
I think the Dial is a real stunner
Can anybody provide a reference number for it?
Thanks.

Neighbors, I just learned that a new Omega store opened two months ago.

It claims to be a boutique, but it's owned by Ben Bridge. I went back and forth with them questioning how it could be a boutique if it wasn't owned by Omega. But they insisted it is a boutique and not an AD. It's very small but it looks like a boutique, although next door to a Ben Bridge.

Have you heard about this?

They might have one of these watches.

I've not heard about this, but I would be happy to reconnoiter the place this week!

Was the beaverton AD owned by Ben bridge?

There are some Boutiques run by jewelers.

Not common but they exist.

I’m not sure any of the US Omega Boutiques were ever “owned” by Omega. I think they are operated as partnerships between Omega and an AD where the space to sell Omegas would be physically separated from other brands and they would have exclusivity by Omega to sell certain models.

Sometimes the separation is a storefront and sometimes a separate room within a larger jeweler.

The Birmingham UK boutique recently changed ownership from Signet Group (Ernest Jones etc) over to direct Swatch ownership. The personnel have remained the same. One downside is that there is now zero chance of discount there. One pretty big upside is that they now get new releases like the new FOIS, Flight Qualified Speedy, new Seamaster variants etc on the day of release.

Just stopped by this location earlier this morning, it's pretty small but pretty nice. I didn't see this reference, nor did they have the new "flightmaster" yet ( but are apparently getting a display piece next week).

All three of the sales associates that I spoke to were very pleasant and fun to talk to.

I looked at the new small wave of no date SMP, which I liked way, way, way more than I expected I would--- And then made the mistake of looking at the Aventurine dialed moon phase Speedy. That thing is... AMAZING.

Shoutout to Yennie, who took my 4 year old seriously enough to show him a couple of ATs he thought were fun!

Costa Mesa is Swatch ownership, used to have a Tourbillion at the same location as well which was all of the high end Swatch brands

Those are beautiful watches, but they could do with one or two less time tracks, I think.

I also visited this BB OB this week. I had a list of watches I wanted to look at and this saved me the drive to Seattle. I'm glad they are here, no matter who owns the boutique.

This is a franchised Omega boutique that is owned by ben bridge. It is not owned by swatchgroup. There are couple of these Franchised boutiques around the USA that are owned by Jewelers and local jewelers.

Oh, neat! That is really cool to know. Did Smith and Bevill lose their Omega relationship? I had 3 bad experiences going into there, so it would be nice to know there is something else local. My Railmaster probably could use a trip to Omega Service...

Whoever owns it- the customer service was in line with what I have experienced at other Omega boutiques (excellent) and they'd like that's what matters to me with a Boutique experience.

Three, eh? I'm sorry to hear that. I know that you and I have talked about S&B before and I also did not have a great experience there.

I don't know if they lost their relationship or not but I definitely got the impression they were more, a lot more interested in selling jewelry anyway and that the OMEGA AD stuff was secondary.

Yeah, I've definitely talked about it before. I only ended up buying a strap/deployant there, but in 3 trips they made it pretty difficult to do business with them. I always got the impression they weren't thrilled about selling watches, so I got all of my Omegas elsewhere.
