Please can you kindly help me identify these watches please?

I'm very confused, the photos of the back relate to the 'De Ville', but I have had no joy trying to find examples of either of these watches online, and I am starting to wonder if they are not authentic. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your help - fortunately I didn't pay for them straight away after I won the auction on ebay until I could get them authenticated, so you have done me a big favour! Could you please elaborate on your opinion so I can learn from this experience? Many thanks, Tracy

It's hard to make defined judgements (other than that they are obvious fakes) based on a couple of crappy photos.
Do you have a link to the auction pictures/description so that we are better able to provide sound advice so that you can dispute the auction.

The only similarity between these two items and a real Omega is the name on the dial. If you are going to dabble in buying items about which you know nothing, prepare to get burned. It’s hard to enumerate the differences when there are zero similarities.

Glad you found out, its a bit like this: how can you tell that this is not a Rolls Royce?😉
I have never seen Omegas that look like what you almost payed for. (but I have in no way seen all variants).

Keep checking in here before you buy. 👍

I see these also I reported this and got a response from eBay’s automated system saying it doesn’t breach their terms an conditions like WHAT I think a few people needs to report and then someone actually looks into it. Firstly people that uses AI to write their description are lazy and have no clue or knowledge what they are selling or don’t care knowing their fake and wanting them gone for quick money. I’ve made this mistake before and I’m sure everyone has at the very early stages of collecting
The tips I’d give you is reverse image search
Secondly if there’s no photos of the movements be cautious as this is a very big giveaway and are probably hiding it from you, ask for photos
If it’s cheap it’s to good to be true unless the seller is genuinely selling a genuine omega and knows nothing about them but by the time you’ve looked at the second photo it will have been sold
If the seller has pictures of inside on back cover you can google to get results that way.

Here's the link to the dodgy seller's listing: https://ebay.us/m/lrba9j I did try reverse image search and when I couldn't find any matches I smelt a rat, then the seller was hassling me for payment within a couple of hours of auction ending, and they also relisted them that same day! Some other poor sod has now bought them and I've now got a black mark on my eBay account for not paying, even though you should get 4 days in which to make payment. I'm going to report them to eBay too! Thanks everyone for your feedback, you're all diamonds ☺️

TBH, the way that most members can quickly determine those watches are fakes is because they are familiar with legit models, and they know those watches don't match up. It takes some practice and experience.
