·Hi,
I recently inherited from my father his Omega watch.
Story is that he was given it on his 18th birthday. That would have been 1955.
I know that he wore it daily and has quite a few dents and scratches and may have possibly had the glass replaced. The family can quite remember.
Questions i have are.
1, What is it.?
2, What is the correct strap for it.?
3, Whats it worth in current state.?
4, Do I have it restored.?
I don't want to sell the watch, I want to wear it on occasions to remember my father.
But equally i don't restore it if it devalues it
Sorry for all the questions i am very new to this.
Thank you
Steve
