Please help me identify this Omega

Hi all,
New here and first post.

I received this watch from my grandfather, and tucked it away until recently when I decided I wanted to wear it.

I have found some similar images and watches to mine, but nothing 100% identical.

I know for a fact that the crown is not original, but as j had to replace it.
I would at least like to know the model, and potentially the year it was made.

Have watchmaker open back and take photos of inside Caseback and movement showing serial number.
Dial photos with hands off text would be helpful.

If you want to wear it have it serviced by independent watchmaker with Omega parts account as oils are degraded over time may damage parts.

I agree that having a watchmaker open up the watch will be the best way to identify it - particularly because it appears to have been re-dialed at some point in its history (a fact particularly evident near the 4 o'clock hour marker), which makes it somewhat more difficult to give an exact reference number.

The watch still looks nice though; and it's always nice to see someone wear their grandfather's watch
