This strapless watch was in my late mother’s jewelry collection. I have been looking online and not finding similar watches. I assume it belonged to her father, he retired in 1957, which may or may not be a clue to its age. It does not appear to work.

There is no official Omega store near me, nor can I find a watchmaker. There is one watch store and many jewelers who list watch repairs as a service.

Thank you in advance for any guidance that can be offered. I have seen the posts to not allow replacement of old parts. Is it ok to have it cleaned?

Looks like a Ref. 2576 drilled lug version to me. Should have a bumper cal. 342 if thats the case. I would be careful who you take it too in order not to damage the watch when attempting to open it. Its not that replacement parts are "not allowed" rather they can have a negative impact on the value from a collectors standpoint. It appears that the dial has been restored at some point in time. Crown looks correct. If you let us know where you are from maybe some of us can provide recommendation for a watchmaker.

I am not in that area so I will differ to others who may be closer to you. In the meantime, while you wait for other responses you can try the search function above and look for a watchmaker in the NV to see if you have any luck.

One of the more popular bumper models. Bumper as the automatic wider bumpers against springs

Do not send to Omega. Very expensive and they will remove it's soul

If you go into any jeweler. Ask if they service on site or send out. If they send out (they could lie) you will be charged double, so always ask for an estimate (should you decide to service it) and then ask here if the price is fair and reasonable.

On replacement parts. Parts are still available for these movements and original from Omega. Most parts suppliers have parts in stock (unless it's a discontinued part), but almost most of these can be found on Ebay.

Only part that I know of that has been re-manufactered and not from Omega is a setting bridge and doesn't affect the value of the watch in any way.

Replacing parts with original or if no other choice used but in good condition original parts does not affect the value in any way

One of my favorite Omega models
