I came across this 1940’s Longines. Unfortunately only one picture. Any advice would be much appreciated?

At best it's a really poor re-dial. We'd need to see more photos to say if it's actually authentic.

Hey, look at this. I have a similar watch with this case. It is a british E.B.E case with swivel lugs. It came across in the late 1940's. The Longines movement was sent to their agent Baume in UK and the the rest was built around the movement under Longines license.

They look similar but they are not. Your one look an original one but not the one I shared. Thank you for sharing though. It is interesting

You should think about that the dial of the watch you shared is a redial and not original, that is fantasy. The case is the same and that is the point.
