There are people on this forum who know exactly how well Omega takes care of its customers.
While that may be true for you, I doubt very much that someone walking in off the street making a one time purchase at a boutique would get the same results. And assuming you are counting in the prices you would have paid for various perks like parties, trips, golf outings, someone would have to be actually interested in such things to begin with.
One reason I am not interested in buying from a boutique, is that I'm not really keen on paying for the perks that people like you get. Nothing against you personally, of course. If guys who spend the big bucks are getting ahead for it, then someone else is not, and I'm not going to be that guy thanks...

I am having fun collecting watches and have made great friends in the process. While I can't put a price on the friendships that have developed or the fun I have had with this hobby I can say that I'm ahead.
I bought my first watch (CK2998) from the OB last month. 🥰
Now, if I could get the OB to source me a lollipop second hand for my SM300ti CM....

·The way I see it, whether you calculate one way or another, everything is still relative(to your income). Do I absolutely love the new GM? Hell yes. Can I afford it? Hell no. Probably not ever.
But if you can justify spending that much money on your watch, good for you. I'll sit here and try to justify spending a couple hundred on mine(still haven't been successful).

·Yes. Yes, it does. You would be surprised what OB can make happen. Would I buy all my watches at OB? no, but when bought judiciously at OB, you can really benefit.

My guess is that despite you buying a few watches at the boutique, Omega are unlikely to violate several corporate policies for you to sell you this hand. Note that buying end links, or other bracelet parts is quite different from buying a hand (a part that typically requires a parts account to purchase) specifically for an LE that I'm assuming you don't own...

Interesting estimating method. I recon it will be somewhere between 190g and 359g depending on whether it has a strap or bracelet. I don't think Superdoc is an engineer or scientist as he wouldn't be able to resist checking this sort of trivia.
Anyway, whatever it weighs, it's nice to know that one (or more?) of the good folks here have such beautiful timepieces and are willing to share images of them with us.

·I am not personally a fan of this reference, as it just not flashy enough for the money. I can get a diamond-encrusted whatever for similar money. If it had PLATINUM stamped on the dial somewhere in large script, I'd be all over it.

At least that's my excuse for not having to buy something covered in prehistoric coal.
