Planet Ocean Advice

Hi there,
I'm reasonably new to the forum - so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I'm not an experienced collector, but I have a couple of nice watches that I have bought retail.

I'm now seriously considering buying a second hand Planet Ocean from a private seller - ref 2201.51.00
The watch looks legit (from a local guy who seems reasonably normal, box, papers etc) and I'm happy with the price.

I'm going to have a look at in the next couple of days, but I was hoping someone might be able to share any advice / experience they have with this model in particular, or buying watches privately in general?

I won't buy it if it's obviously damaged (or if I suspect the seller is sus) - but any tips and tricks would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

I own the same Planet Ocean (42mm with orange color digits).
It's the most comfortable diver watch i have ever worn and the case looks similar to the Speedmaster Professional.

It would be nice to share some real pics of the watch with us.

Ugh - I can't believe this.
It has sold (on gumtree) since I put up the original post.

I do appreciate the help though.

I didn't get this one - but I'm now so mentally prepared to own one!
