OP imposing forum rules that suit his moral standings, shaming other members, accusing others of stalking, passive aggressive tone through out.
OP cared enough about something to bring it up to us.
While I disagree 99% with him, we can still be respectful. Come on, man. He'll warm up to us once he calms down and just enjoys watches with us instead of beating his head against a wall he didn't know was there (us).
I guess I would just hate to see a new member retreat and never come back due to a rough start here
What I think everyone is missing is there's a difference between pics of themselves being stupid, and pics where their stupidity is endangering others. That's not a question of morality.
Why all those behind-the-wheel pictures anyway? Never got that, probably just me...
Do you have any stats to show how many accidents, near misses, and fatalities arise from people taking photos of watches while driving?
I guess my point is with all of the things going on in this world where people are putting other people's lives in danger, this one seems to be an odd and rather obscure one to go on a crusade about...

Do I have to post stats about distracted driving for you to think it's a bad idea? Also - a couple posts is hardly a crusade 馃槈
It's the lighting. Often times it's nice and bright, while indirect. Whether or not people realize it, they just think "oh looks good now" and snap away.
That, and why do people like to have their feet/ shoes show up in their watch pictures? I would be all in favor of a ban of feet/ shoes showing up in watch pics...
I've noticed this seems to be a growing trend. Worse is when they're bare and with pants around them while photographer is sat on the crapper.
That *should* be okay if they are timing it with a chronograph, or monitoring their remaining oxygen supply with a diving bezel.
A "couple of posts"...well you started an entire thread about this topic after only being here for a short time
I wasn't aware we had limited thread resources, and a limit to new members posting them. Do I owe for server costs now because you didn't like the topic? 馃檮
Well, you can keep deflecting if you like. But we have had the conversation you said you wanted, and it didn't go your way. You are certainly free to post whatever you want to, but you also should be prepared for push back if others don't agree. That's all that's happened here...
Still waiting for the stats...
I'm missing the part where I'm up in arms and complaining that I didn't get my way. I asked for a discussion, got a lot of feedback, stated why I disagree on some parts. Still feel that way. That's how it goes.
I'm not trolling. And yeah, I'm for the most part done. I just couldn't help myself with the last reply - characterizing me as some crusader eating up valuable kilobytes of board resources. I'm moving on from the thread, and perhaps you should, as well. No stats coming, because what's the point? That's not deflection.
FWIW - I fully recognize your valuable contributions to the board even in my short time here. Not my intent to anger or frustrate. But I'm also not necessarily going to have the same viewpoint as you on non-technical topics. I hope you don't hold it against me when I inevitably have a question that will deal with movements, complications, service, etc.
