I recently picked up this Phenix which is similar to the DH watches issued to the German Military during World War 2. Has the fixed bars and same dial but this has a cal 89 automatic movement which cannot be hand wound. After some research and doing my best to translate a couple of posts on the uhrforum I believe these are quite rare and information is limited. Can anyone help with more details

Can’t help you more than I’ll post my Phenix, 35mm manual wound and steel case. Probably a bit later than your example! :)

I have an interest for the Phenix cal 89 if you care to send it to a new home... Essentially one of the only 2 manufacture self winding movements from Phenix (cal 200 is the other one from 1954). The cal 89 was introduced in 1940. Often sold under the Eros brand. Its automatic module sits like an inverted bowl on top of the manual wound movement and acts like dust protection, so the regulator is hard to reach. Very hard to service and parts are inexistant as it has no A.S. equivalent. That said, it is the last piece I need in my collection so reach out if interested.
