Hello Folks!
I am newbie to the world of IWC..I have some prior experience in collecting Rolex and Omega and have been active a decade back in TRF/VRF and here on and off. I have the opportunity to pick up this 18K Sharfin IWC(always wanted a good) with 1.44 Million serial number.
Based on my brief research it seems late 50s to early 60s model with desirable shark fin case....and video sent by seller case seems sharp.
Dial has some ingress(condensation?) at 12 to 3 o'clock....and from newbie eyes the fonts seem correct ...hence the dial seems not redial or is it? From this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/iwc-cal-89-18k-gold-bombe-lugs-redial-or-original-dial.193229/

Any feedback and pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Big thanks in advance!!

Thanks Ron! Waiting for close up picture should have it later today. Seller sent me a video not sure if I will be able to post the video from which one can see the serial number 1449xxx(x 'ed to keep seller product private for now) but I can see all the numbers. I do not know the movement number (I do not see it in the pictures I have) and while researching read the 50s and some 60s did not have movement number. Is my understanding correct?

1957 to 1960s is what serial number dates to as per link you pointed me to.
While waiting for the close up picture:

Any early conclusion that dial is NOT redial? Any thoughts on case?

Thank you
