Clasp is adjustable apparently.

Missing the microadjustments

Thinner at 12mm (roughly) than the normal pelagos with the only downside a reduced wr. Who is really taking this below 200m though.

practically no one but to me the 500m WR was part of the charm and capability. i suppose not an issue given the much reduced thickness

I still sort of think that it was. And if its not, then yeah. Brutally bad.

doubt it. their releases for the past few years have used a similar style launch video.
For a company the size and reputation of tudor the marketing is laughable

Could be a good time to pick up a used bb58. Think there could be a few coming up soon.

Have to agree about the wr. While I don't need it. Its nice to have. No HE valve either as a consequence of the thinness.

If they do that in the same blue as the current one ... 🥰
That’s exactly what I was thinking! Maybe this will go in the same order as the previous time: first black, later the blue one as well.

Nice, but I'm sticking with my Pelagos Blue -- nearly five years old and used in all kinds of sloppy conditions at land, lake and sea and still running beautifully. Will be interesting to see how the variations of this Pelly 39 play out.

In the meantime, I'm scratching my small diver itch with this Sinn U50 Pro.

The Pelagos in 39mm, updated clasp, ceramic lume and no date is a home run. I’m sold.

It’s one of those times where you start to think ‘watch people’ actually design these watches.

Wow! It's like they actually listened to watch enthusiasts and did what they were asking for!

I'm excited to check it out in person.

Tudor's doing great in making no-fuss, great-for-dailywear watches. At great prices too. First the BB58 and now this.👍

It is missing the old-style adjustment system, but according to the web-site and press release, it does have the new adjustment system found on the Black Bay Pro. I think that’s a cleaner look.

I’d like a date window. I do like it other than that.

Can I call dibs on that Sinn? 🥰

“This is the new Pelagos. Yet, it is not just “another” Pelagos. It is very much a Pelagos. But it is different… You can use it as a Pelagos of course.”

That video was horrendous

Man, someone should post a link to that video here - I need some laughs!

Actually there are some wrist shots on Reddit now. It looks very nice. A bit of a vintage look. They had a review I was going to post then realized it was German

11.8mm THK, OMEGA PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THAT VALUE!!...COMPARE WITH THE PO 39 AT 14.5mm?...
I FEEL TUDOR IS AWARE OF THE NEEDS OF THEIR FOLLOWERS.
Well the PO is rated at 600 meters and has a crystal caseback. Otherwise it would be just as thin.
