Pakistan Air Force Seamaster

I’ve noticed on eBay over recent weeks a few SS Seamasters being offered, cal.1020 with the initials PAF and an upward pointing arrow on the case back. Each time the letters are engraved in a slightly different way. The seller says they were issued for the Pakistan Air Force. They always come from the same seller and attract a high number of bidders. The watches look clean but this is unusual to me and I wonder if anyone here knows anything ablout these or if they should be avoided. Thank you.

Do they have Extracts from the Archive verifying the PAF connect? Perhaps post some links and photos.

OK, that is definitely not what I was imagining when I read the title of this thread. What a piece of crap.

So a military pilot Watch without lume. I smell bs in this case.😗
I thought that too, but then he doesn’t say it’s a pilot’s watch. It could be for ground staff?

Do you mean you don’t buy the story, or you thinks the watch is not genuine?

Or, somebody with PAF as their initials? I agree on the turd sentiment...

The watch is junk. Fake engraving, refinished dial, over polished case. Hopefully there's actually an Omega movement inside, but who knows.

Possible, although three watches the same model with these initials seems odd.

Pretty sure that was intended as a joke by @igatomic.

Or maybe that was intended as a joke by you. 😉

All the PAF watches I ever saw (Citizen, Tissot, Omega) had a broad arrow engraved (long or short tail); this is not a broad arrow. Feels fake to me.

OK, that’s very helpful, thank you. I am not yet sufficiently knowledgeable to identify fake or refinished dials but I did wonder about the highly polished case. The problem I have is I like highly polished cases even though I read here that they are not for collectors!

It’s totally legit. I have the exact same watch same movement and confirmation that they were authentic. Given to officers or ground staff. Mine is unpolished though. Great everyday watch.
