Is there a trick of the light or optical illusion or does the crystal of the watch to my right have magnification of the sub dials?
If so its a great idea.

You're not the first person to point that out about this watch. However, it's just an optical illusion 馃榾

Sharing a base caliber

Heuer Carrera Re-Edition CS3110 and First Omega in Space 311.32.40.30.01.001

Great point! Took me a while to figure out the connection (before reading your caption)

Identical gold cases and both powered by Smiths 15 jewel movements.

Yummm ... Alpha!

That Smith with a full set of Arabic numeral markers!

Love full Arabic numeral markers! Love ol' Smiths watches! Love wearing a Smiths over here deep in the heart of Texas!

40s & 50s Universal

Black Dial Omegas

Chronometre twins in red gold

Wow nice gold spillman. Is that original lume in the hands? Always interesting to see how the lume ages between dial and hands, with UG they often do not match at all.

May i present the diametric pair, a NOS LCD Quartz Speedy made for the office, put head against the rugged mechanical apocalyptic SM1000 prototype 5-XXX tool watch that has seen its share of action under great depths...

Thanks and not sure about the lume- it looks original to me in hand but I haven't inspected it under the loupe. Agree that UG lumed hands/dials mostly shouldn't match I think as they were normally sourced from multiple different suppliers.

Resilient, no frills, proper divers. Op, you have a great collection, you are a man of taste. The Olympic Seiko along with the 6105 had me drooling.
