Hi OF I have a fun pair of Seiko's that dont get any wrist time so thought someone else might show them more love than they get from me. These watches are meant to be worn and are a good pair; a sports watch and a dressier model. $375 (org $425) gets them both delivered to your door in the USA, international available at additional cost, contact me for a quote. First is a 7A28-7020 also known as the Seiko Speedmaster. 37mm wide, 20mm lug width. A good quartz chronograph that actually has a serviceable movement that a watchmaker can work on if needed. Watch works as it should, new-ish battery (2mths old) resets properly etc. No service history, no recent pressure test, I am confident it needs new gaskets at a minimum but timekeeping and chrono work great. It shows wear especially to the gold plated pushers and bezel where the gold plating is worn away in many spots. Good attractive dial, all lume pips in place and on hands, with nice creamy patina IMO. Not in collectible condition but looks good and wears well. This is the black and gold version of the "Bond" 7A28, the Bond watch from the movie is the all white version. Second is a 7606-7971 Seiko Sportsmatic 5 "Deluxe" with sunburst dial and applied markers, 37mm wide, 19mm lug width. Good looking watch, running, setting, working well all in all. Again no service records or pressure tests so assume it is not water resistant. Case is pretty clean with all lug bevels still in place with good lines. Some wear to back logo, not sharp but still visible. Quick note; this is the older style with quick set date, which works properly, but does not have the quick set feature for the day, just the date like some older Rolex models did. Both come on the straps pictured; a new unworn ostrich-style for the dress and a well worn baseball leather strap on the 7a28. Neither watch is in "collector condition" but neither are dogs either. The 7A28 shows its age but the Seiko 5 is pretty sharp. Either way a fun pair to wear or a gift for that budding watch enthusiast (or two) in your life. $425 seems about right for this pair but moving to $375; if I am right snap them up, if I am wrong feel free to make an offer that you feel is fair. Price will include shipping w/in the USA, international can be done but I will have to send you a cost so just reach out and ask if interested. Paypal is fine, I always prefer Friends & Family of course but I accept Goods & Services on this transaction with no additional fees on my side. Trades for Speedmaster accessories considered; boxes, straps, buckles, vintage manuals & guarantees, bezels, etc. Always interested in cool Omega trinkets too. PLEASE ask any questions before buying, I am just a collector so I dont want any returns. If I make a mistake I will always make it right, no worries, I just dont want any buyers remorse returns. I have feedback as both buyer and seller here on OF and 20+ years of positive ebay feedback under my user ID: dperie As always, thank you OF for the platform and space, and thank you to the dedicated members who read all the way to the end of my long sales posts.
Recalculating … let’s call it $375 OBO for the pair Edit to add: Forgot to mention that is a genuine @Duracuir1 strap on the 7a28! I didn’t want to separate the pair, nice baseball leather on a watch made in another baseball loving country
That sportmatic is sensational! This would be a good 2-1 regifter, keep the sportmatic and gift the chrono to a nephew, son, grandchild- a good “my first watch”.
