Why is this Forum littered with so many Pop Up Ads? I belong to Watch U Seek , Rolex Forum and a few others outside the watch hobby and this Forum is the worst. It's actually difficult to enjoy when the pages are dominated with advertisement. Any thoughts or solutions ?

I mean, there are other ways to block ads on every website but it's nice to sub any way.

It helps keep the Rolex Forum members at bay. 😁Seriously, you gotta pay to play, dude. Take it from a paying member: OF is totally worth it.

This forum was ad free for years but the mods (who are the “owners”) were hemorrhaging money to keep it vital and something has to give. Just sub to the $50 tier and it looks like it used to. And you are donating to a good cause which is the sustained archive of knowledge that is this place

Thank you for the quick feedback as I read How I can get a New Metal Roof in 1 day and how to save on my Car Insurance , and a Nyquil commercial 😀

Just wait until the erectile dysfunction and adult diapers start popping up- then you’ll want to keep the good times coming!

Hey, I can help you with that. Working on a couple designs right now; it shouldn't be too hard to tailor one to the conditions on your house. Depending on where you located I may be able to provide you with a recommendation for a good roofing contractor (and yes, they do exist). Material lead time and crew availability definitely precludes 1-day service, though (more like 3 months).

I can't/ won't help you with the ED issues. Recommend you follow through with the ads for that one. 😁

Welcome to OF! It's a great place with tons of great info.

I felt bad for blocking ads after a while, and paid for Tier 1. I realized that I spend more time reading here than any other subscription I pay for on a monthly basis. YouTube premium, Netflix, and many others you don't want to know. I also think the forum saves me from making stupid purchase decisions (although there's a whole another side that makes me buy more), so I convinced myself that the subscription already paid for itself for a few years.
