Congrats on your watch! I also own the OP34 other than my Omega White Waffle, it's my go-to favourite watch in my entire collection. It's good dressed up at work and also on the weekend with a t-shirt.

Guys,

this watch is a perfect everyday watch as you鈥檝e said 馃榾

Question about accuracy: I鈥檝e red that the 3132 is COSC and given by Rolex for -2 / +2 per day, am I right?
Does that means that it is supposed to run within this?
Mine is running +2s per day, is it a 芦 classic 禄 variation for such a mouvement?

thanks 馃榾

How are you measuring accuracy? I never did this, but wouldn't mind giving it a go to compare.

Well, it is maybe not the most accuracy option, but I compared to my iPhone after 5 days and divided it then

I would be interested getting chrono comparateur result from a 3132 to understand how it goes

The white does look great.

When I picked up my OP I went for a 34. I took it to be very understated which was what I was going for at the time. The 36 was available I believe, but I liked the cleaner dial of the 34. It looks tiny on 7.25" wrist but I'm happy with it.

Please wear it well and in good health!

the OP movement IMO is more accurate given it doesn't need to power the date wheel

Interesting viewpoint - is that based on your knowledge as a watchmaker? I thought that powering the date function might in some very small way reduce the reserve, but would not have any impact on the movement's accuracy.

That was what I was told by my watchmaker, that complications somewhat affects the amplitude. Say for date change - when it's storing up the power for the instant change; for starting and stopping a chronograph - the change in power draw. From what I read that was also the selling point for the Lange annual and perpetual calendars, where they can make a movement where it's instant change for the date, month, and day without measurable effect on the accuracy.

Thanks. I confess I had never thought about it. You have prompted an interest in the the Lange movements now!

Guys,
Last update on this topic, it went way faster than I thought...! At the beginning, I was only thinking of which watch could be the next one, by the end of the year or even further... but I tried it, once, then twice, then some tough days bring me to 芦 you worked hard for the last few years, today you can afford it but you don鈥檛 know what will happen then 禄 and here it is 馃榾
I love it! So versatile!

Congrats on your OP! Looks really awesome on your wrist! Glad you treated yourself. Life's too short 馃榿

I agree that the OP is a great everyday watch. I tend to wear my OP34 more often than my other watches. I also borrow my mom's OP34 olive green dial from time to time. The OP39 dark rhodium has caught my eye. Too bad that color doesn't come in 34. Probably a good thing 馃槈

Also, not a fan of the cyclops on the Rolex.

You'll enjoy wearing this one for a long time to come 馃榾

Hi there,
As we need to keep some goal in mind, my next modern watch could be a Rolex.
First, I thought of a datejust 36mm with fluted bezel, I tried it on, but surprisingly it did not work as well as I was expected! 41mm date just is too big, 36mm is maybe a bit too small (even if I鈥檓 use to wear my 168.005 which I love). Maybe I should go for a second try!

Then, I鈥檝e started looking for an Oyster perpetual 39mm with white dial but the AD did not have one in stock. I like the dial, the brush bracelet, and I guess the 39mm could be perfect!

As we don鈥檛 see this model so often, I was wondering: is this Rolex worth it regarding the mouvement and caracteristics? Does anyone has feedbacks on this white 芦 polar 禄 dial?

Thanks 馃榾

The 36 looks great on you! I would go with this one!

I think the OP is worth it, especially the white dial. Hype aside, it is one of the best looking modern Rolex. Often overlooked.

Try the blue OP 36! The dial isn't as busy, compared to the 36mm double baton patterned dials. The absence of the small, arabic numbers at the 5-minute markers makes the dial less cramped, incrementally enhancing the feel of "open space" that gives the dial the visual effect of appear just a little bit larger.

That blue dial OP36 looks amazing! I like how it seems almost black at certain angles. Perhaps a candidate for a single-watch collection, if I were so bold.

Now discontinued, and already 2 advert on a French website from people looking for Op39 white dial.

it seems that it has to be no more available to get people鈥檚 attention!

The white dial would be my pick of the bunch and am surprised it鈥檚 discontinued.

Well what a surprise...Rolex obviously listened to its market re: new Sub (although I don't mind the maxi case) but what a retrograde step with the Oyster Perpetual range! They dropped its most lauded model.

With the new changes announced yesterday, I better move the 39 OP blue dial up in my 'get-eventually' list...

It鈥檚 been very difficult to get ahold of the last year. Really a perfect basic, everyday starter piece.

Looks like OP39s are dropped for the larger 41mm size. Not liking the double indices.
