Oyster Perpetual 39, worth it?

That white OP is a beauty. I have a grape op39, not everyone’s taste but a very playful addition to my collection.

I opted for the white DJ as well as a blue DJ, simple and robust. This said I’d love to have an op39 white... truly elegant and unstated. You did well.

My AD offered me a white OP39 in Dec last year while I was waiting for an Explorer 1. Ultimately I turned it down as I wanted the Explorer but it is a wonderful watch, the size is perfect and the dial has a depth you don’t often see with white dials.

I came close to thinking up an excuse for the missis and buying it anyway but regrettably left it.

I can see them becoming something of a cult classic.

And here’s the Grape OP 39. Not for everyone but my wife got it for me because she thought it was very Rock and Roll. And who ever doesn’t want his partner to think you’re “Rock & Roll”

I definitely took the white OP for granted. It's much more beautiful than I gave it credit for. Love the brushed center links too.
